I’ve ordered some through their website, the taste is ok, nothing special and the company kept sending me coffee and charged my credit card automatically, it is really annoying. They sent me some brochures and I didn’t look thoroughly, later I noticed they mentioned in the brochure with very small size words, if you do not send the card back in 10 days, they will send you coffee and charge your credit card. I do not recommend you to order!

For several years I purchased Gevalia through their membership plan. The coffee is excellent, but I hated the high shipping charges. Wow! What a surprise to able to buy the same coffee from Amazon and get FREE shipping. It’s a win-win situation. I wish Amazon carried the Gevalia Signature coffee, but the Traditional Roast is great too.

It’s to the point I hardly bother trying other coffees now, I always end up preferring this one. I make mine quite strong, it’s more like espresso, and it’s just a good flavor coffee to me. It’s a dark red/brown looking clear liquid when I make it, not the darker brown almost black/opaque like some coffees are, I do not like the taste (or smell) of those darker types of coffees [but if you do, you might not like this Gevalia Traditional Roast]. I LOVE how this one smells when freshly brewed. I like it black (no cream or sugar) or sometimes I add some milk. I think its caffeine concentration might be high, sometimes when I’ve run out I substitute other coffees or drink tea or colas, and I can feel the caffeine headache coming on unless I overdose on the other caffeinated drinks. I have also tried the Gevalia Traditional Decaffeinated and it’s good also.

This is a better than average coffee as compared to store bought.I like this better than starbucks breakfast blend or house blend.A lot better than folgers special blend.It is a non bitter coffee and does not leave an after taste.I use this in a Kuerig and it works pretty well.I do not like strong coffee’s and this one is not.I have to say that this is not something exceptional.
